I love historical romances. I have never read one by Nancy Bush before, but she does not disappoint. I loved the character of Lexie as she is so spirited and stubborn in her want to become a horse doctor, that it makes for a very fun story. I can't wait for the next one to come out.

If anyone is looking for an enjoyable read I highly recommend that they pick up the Danner series by Nancy Bush! It's a very enjoyably read that I found I did in one weekend! I just couldn't put it down! Lexie is a real character everything that your looking for! I've just started getting into historical romances and can't wait to keep reading more!!
This is the 1st in a 4 series. Couldn't wait to read the other 3. I read these 4 over a weekend. Very good series. I love the old west. It's amazing how love conquers all!
The details were tricky and could possibly put you off but it was well written and I rooted for the hero and heroine the whole time. Will definitely read the next in the series!
